Sports is Fun

What do you like to do? Sports, then look at this! We went to St. Kents and we played dodge ball and capture the flag. Then a couple of weeks later they came to our school. We played basketball, touch, passing the ball and soccer. We had 15 minutes on each activity.

Here are my Term 2 goals that I made today. This is what I will work on this term with a positive and can-do attitude.

Keep it or lose it

My opinion for New Zealand is keep the current flag. The reason why I chose the current flag is because I think it is a waste of 25 million dollars! It could be used on many other things.

Low fat chips or Ordinary chips?

My reading group the Wild things read a book Fact or Fiction. There was a article called pseudoscience.In the article was a challenge about chips and we had a look and a couple days later we did it. We needed:
25g of regular chips
25g of low fat chips
scales
2 sheets of graph paper
2 sheets of grease proof paper 
a rolling pin.

Advanced Y6 2016

Kia ora! My name is Prudence.  I am ten years old and my culture is Cook Island. I am learning in Room 10 at Ruapotaka School in Auckland.  We are a Year 6 class and my teacher is Mrs Buchanan.

I am learning to be Cybersmart when I create digital learning.  My goal is to have a positive digital footprint.  My favourite subject at school is solving hard maths problems. In maths we are learning to co-operate with others when problem solving. My maths goal is to practise my times tables.

My favourite movie is charlie brown the peanuts movie because it is a cool movie. My favourite colour is blue.My favourite sports are basketball and softball.My favourite game on PS3 is uncharted 1,2,3.My favourite animal is a bear. When I grow up, I want to be a famous designer for playstation games.
