Advanced Y6 2016

Kia ora! My name is Prudence.  I am ten years old and my culture is Cook Island. I am learning in Room 10 at Ruapotaka School in Auckland.  We are a Year 6 class and my teacher is Mrs Buchanan.

I am learning to be Cybersmart when I create digital learning.  My goal is to have a positive digital footprint.  My favourite subject at school is solving hard maths problems. In maths we are learning to co-operate with others when problem solving. My maths goal is to practise my times tables.

My favourite movie is charlie brown the peanuts movie because it is a cool movie. My favourite colour is blue.My favourite sports are basketball and softball. My favourite game on PS3 is uncharted 1,2,3.My favourite animal is a bear. When I grow up, I want to be a famous designer for playstation games.

  1. Hi Prudence! my name's Yasmine, Cook Island seems like such a cool place, i've never been but would love to visit one day! I'm from Ireland which is a country in Europe.
Being cybersmart is really important and I'm so glad you want to leave a positive digital footprint! I also enjoy maths and I love being able to solve hard problems. Problem solving is one of my favourite parts of maths and I love co-operating with others because you get to have fun while doing the work!
Charlie Brown the Penuts movie is a really great movie, I can see how it's your favourite! I don't really play PS3 but my brother does and he looks like he has so much fun playing it. My favourite colour is blue too! You have such amazing goals for when you grow up, I hope you are able to achieve those goals one day! :)

    1. G'day Yasmine, thank you for commenting on my blog. I like my culture and I like your culture too. I like maths to have hard addition problems to do. I like the graphics on PS3 games. I like like the colour blue because of my uniform. I hope you can achieve your goals too! What are your goals?

    2. Hi Prudence, I hope you are having fun in math and had a good long weekend. My goals are to get good grades in term 3 and do well in my exams at the end of the year. Have a good day!
