Why was the girls not allowed to play or see sports? My opinion myself as a girl I say that was no fair what so ever.Why? Because if the men were allowed then the girls should have be allowed to. If they can do it then a girl could do it to.
I agree, Prudence! If boys are allowed to compete in the Olympics then I believe that girls should also be allowed to compete. It is only fair! I can understand that there were some concerns about the safety of the girls during the ancient Olympic games but I believe that they should have still been invited to participate and then allowed to compete in their own events. What do you think about this idea? Would it have been fair to have two sets of Olympic games, one for the men and one for the women?
